WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE GRAYS
Gray metals are among the most popular choices for modern wedding bands due to their clean appearance and practical advantages. Compared to traditional precious metals like gold or platinum, gray metals typically offer a more accessible price point while still delivering strength and durability.
This category also provides a wide range of material options, each with distinct physical properties. Titanium is known for being extremely lightweight and comfortable for daily wear. Tungsten offers exceptional hardness and scratch resistance, making it one of the most durable options available. Tantalum stands out for its rarity and high resistance to corrosion, along with a heavier feel that some wearers prefer. Together, these gray metals allow customers to choose based on weight, durability, and performance, not just appearance.

TANTALUM
Gunmetal Gray | Sizeable
Not even discovered until 1802, Tantalum is a rare metal that’s a cool gunmetal gray color with blue undertones. Jewelers love it because they can size it. Guys love it because it’s hypoallergenic (won’t cause allergic reactions), biocompatible (won’t irritate your skin), scratch-resistant (although not completely scratch proof), fade-resistant, and will dent rather than shatter if dropped. Doesn’t tarnish or corrode. Conductive – not for electricians.
LOOK
Darker gray than tungsten and a little less shiny. Cool, gunmetal color. More scratch-resistant than precious metals.
HARDNESS
MOHs 6.5. Harder than precious metals. Unlike tungsten, won’t crack under impact. Will dent if hit just right.
STYLING
6MM or 8MM. Inlays & Stones. No sleeves. No quarter sizes. Sizeable.
CARE
For the active, as Tantalum won’t shatter. Clean with soap & water. Scratches can be polished out.
TITANIUM

A 6 on MOHs, it’s harder than gold (3) or platinum (4). Very strong and super lightweight.

CARE
Hypoallergenic and lightweight. May lose luster if exposed to harsh chemicals. Clean with water and a gentle, detergent-free soap.
TUNGSTEN
Super Hard
A great choice for active lifestyles, tungsten is heavy, incredibly scratch resistant, and exceptionally hard. It will never bend out of shape like gold is prone to, maintaining its bold profiles no matter what the day brings. Tungsten was where it all began for us, it set the standard for durability and strength and inspired our name.
LOOK
Darker gray. About two shades darker than platinum or white gold.
HARDNESS
A 9 on MOHs, only something as hard as a diamond can scratch it (yay!). But brittle. Can shatter when hit just right.
STYLING
Inlays, but no sleeves or stones. 6MM, 8MM, & 10MM.
CARE
Hypoallergenic, but will lose luster if exposed to harsh chemicals. Clean with water and detergent free soap.
