WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ENGRAVING
To add a highly personalized element, Heavy Stone offers a comprehensive range of engraving options designed to complement each ring’s design and construction. Customers can choose from clean, classic text engravings, custom handwritten engravings, fingerprints, or image-based designs, allowing for a wide range of customization styles.
Engravings are completed using precision laser technology to ensure clarity, consistency, and long-term durability. Depending on the material and ring style, engravings can be placed on the interior or exterior of the band. This process allows customers to incorporate names, dates, messages, or meaningful imagery in a permanent and detailed way, enhancing the individuality of each finished piece while maintaining the integrity of the ring.

Our most frequently requested font is Arial, but we offer 11 standard fonts to ensure maximum flexibility. See our list.
2. IF I DON’T SEE THE FONT I’D LIKE TO USE, MAY I CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ONE?
Of course! We love making you happy. If you’d like to use a non-standard font, please contact our team, and we’ll try to make it happen. If we can’t locate your requested font, we will reach out with a similar option.
3. HOW MANY CHARACTERS MAY I INCLUDE?
There’s no character limit to text engraving at Heavy Stone. Sometimes, there’s a lot to say! Just be aware that the text will become very, very small.
CUSTOM ENGRAVING FQAS
1. HOW DO I SUBMIT ARTWORK FOR HANDWRITTEN OR FINGERPRINT ENGRAVING?
Easy! Simply place your order through our team as normal, and then email a JPEG image to orders@heavystonerings.com.
2. FILE FORMAT & IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS?
Black and white JPEG. Must be a “flat” image, as we can’t engrave from an image on another object (like a picture of handwriting on another ring). We can edit “wrapped” text (more than one line) onto a single plane.
3. ANYTHING TO BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHEN CAPTURING A FINGERPRINT?
Yes. Be sure to get a print that’s crisp and clear - without any smudges. Be careful not to press the finger down too hard, as the lines will become blurred. Send 3-5 options for best results.
